Today's Outlook decided to audition for Back to the Future.

I got a meeting reminder... from my late husband.

For a split second, my brain completely short-circuited. Shock. Confusion. A very thorough check to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

The reminder? "Halley's Comet."

Naturally, once my heart rate returned to something resembling normal, I Googled it.

Sure enough, the next appearance of Halley's Comet is July 28, 2061.

Then came the truly important scientific exercise: calculating how old I'll be.

Let's just say... there's about a 50/50 chance I'll still be around to see it. 😅

So now I'm left wondering...

Did he schedule this because he knew I'm a lifelong space geek? Was he playing the longest practical joke ever? Is there some deeper meaning I'm missing? Or is this simply my own personal Back to the Future moment, delivered through an old calendar invite?

Either way, I'll keep the reminder.

And if I do make it to July 28, 2061, I'll be looking up at the sky—and probably laughing.

Sometimes the universe has an incredible sense of timing. 🚀☄️
